Minnesota Math Corps is a program that provides tutoring to 4th through 8th graders who are struggling with math.
About Education Corps
Minnesota Education Corps is a collaborative effort to help Minnesotan children who are struggling in reading or math excel academically. Partnering with local schools and school districts, we place and train AmeriCorps members to implement research-based math and reading strategies for students from Pre-K to 8th grade. Our two programs, Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math Corps, work to ensure that Minnesota children are on track to read by the end of third grade and are algebra-ready by eighth. About 700 members are currently serving statewide, working closely with students to provide essential one-on-one and small-group tutoring to help them become successful in school and in life.
